>Donald Thomas
Donald Thomas is a financial advisor and founding member of Assurance Financial Partners, LLC, but he still thinks of himself as a student. He is continually educating himself on new approaches and products that can help his clients reach their financial dreams.

Growing up on a farm in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Donald learned early on the importance of integrity and hard work. Beginning in “self-employed retail” in Rogersville, AL and later returning to Nashville to work in the field of insurance, Donald has worked with clients helping them with all aspects of financial and life needs.

Donald's past leisure time interests were split between team roping, varsity basketball, and music. Guitar legend Jerry Reed was a big inspiration. Whether it is in church or at a barbecue, bonfire, or on stage, you will still find Donald singing and picking to this day.

Donald is especially proud of his 28-year-old son, Cody, a sergeant in the Army National Guard. The youngest sergeant in the State of Alabama National Guard, Cody has served in Afghanistan.

In addition to serving on the Vista Points Special Needs Trust Board of Directors, Thomas also works with the BBB Middle Tennessee Corporate Board.
